My current loadout
NOTE : I actually stopped airsofting in June 2008 but may go back some day. The information below is mostly for reference.
=======================
My airsofting is all done from the WWII perspective. Its done in conjunction with Comrades In Arms, a UK WWII airsoft group that organises events throughout the year. My current loadout is based around a Private in the Red Army. This was a change from my US kit but I was forced to sell off most of that loadout due to financial difficulties. The Soviet kit was cheaper to obtain.
WWII Loadout
- Post-war Russian Helment – Suspect it to be mid 60s or so. Only just fits me
- Reproduction M43 Gymnastiorka shirt with Private shoulderboards
- Reproduction M43 Sharovari Trousers.
- Original trouser belt
- Leather-on-canvas belt (suspect to be 50s or 60s make but works for airsofting and more importantly is in my size!)
- Original 3 pocket grenade pouch
- Post war canteen and pouch (but looks the same as WWII era)
- Original Large grenade pouch
- Reproduction SVT40 leather pouches (which smell to high heaven)
- Reproduction Pilotka (cap) with soviet star
- Reproduction 1940 Urshanka hat (so warm)
- Magnum Boots – so comfy and I cant quite afford £70 for Jack Boots just yet. Good enough for airsofting.
 Current Weapons
- Chinasoft Druganov (AK with VERY long barrel) – counts as a Soviet SVD
- Cheapsoft Shotgun with custom made wooden stock. Shocking accuracy tho so hardly use it
- Bell M10 revolver – as effective as a catflap in an elephant house.. still it looks the part.
Some pics to amuse you (taken March 2007).
